After four fun years at Jamesburg High I attended Glassboro College where I graduated in 1966 (BA Elementary Ed). Upon graduation I married Louis Polisano, who graduated from Glassboro (Rowan) with me. I taught first grade but quit to travel with my husband through the southern states while he pursued his minor league baseball career with the NY Yankee farm system. We have been married for 36 years. Lou is originally from Atlantic City. We live in Absecon. Lou has been in the computer finance/leasing business since he left baseball. I was fortunate enough to be a stay-at-home mom and raise our two children. Now I have the pleasure of being able to spend a great deal of time with our four granddaughters (see above).
Our daughter Lisa is a graduate of Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA, and has a MA in Education. She teaches third grade at a nearby elementary school. Her husband Robert will soon have a degree in Criminal Justice. He is currently a sergeant on the Atlantic City Police force. They have two little girls. Brielle is five and Victoria is two. They built a home on thirteen acres in the country about nine miles from our home. our son Louis is a graduate of Villanova School of Finance and Commerce. Their primary residence is in Ambler, PA. Lou is a part owner and EVP of a software consulting firm. His wife Maggie is a consultant and is also a graduate of Villanova with a degree in Computer Science. They have two girls as well. Grace is four and a half and Catharine is two and a half. They purchased a summer home in Longport which is only a short distance from our home so we get to share a lot of time with them as well. My husband and I enjoy traveling, boating, fishing and going to the beach with our children and their families. We also have an interest in horse racing. We travel to Florida in the winter and enjoy racing at Gulfstream Park and travel to Saratoga Springs in the summer and have a great time at the races there.
We have many things to be thankful for. However, we have had some sad times as well. I lost my mother about five years ago and about a year ago my brother Joey was killed in a terrible car accident. He was five years younger than me. Thank God my father is still with us and doing very well I might add. He is 83 years old.
Louis and I are definitely planning on being present at the reunion and are looking forward to seeing everyone.
